What To Eat At The Blue Bayou In New Orleans Square In Disneyland

My favorite meal at the Blue Bayou is the Herb Crusted Rack of Lamb.  I sometimes get it with the mashed potatoes that it comes with, but I do like to substitute it with the Au gratin Potatoes.  I love those!  They have a little spicy taste to them and that's what makes them so good!

My daughter and I always order the 8 Layer Chocolate Hazelnut Cake.  It's our favorite!  We usually share desserts, but with this one... we have to get our own.  It's the best cake!

My daughter usually gets the Chef's Beef Special Kids' Meal ~ that one is her favorite!  The last time we went she wanted to try the Chicken Breast Kids' Meal and she loved it!  She is a big fan of noodles and chicken, so this was perfect for her!

I also got something new the last time I went.  I got the Roasted Chicken Maison.  I liked it, but I wasn't a fan of the sauce.  It's called the Vermouth Jus and it's okay.  The chicken was really good, so if I order it again I won't get the Vermouth Jus with it.  I am a picky eater, so I think most people would like it.

The Blue Bayou is my daughter's and my favorite restaurant at Disneyland and our favorite restaurant ever!  It's the best!  Every trip to Disneyland we always go to the Blue Bayou.  Last time we went twice and it was the best decision!

Beauty And The Beast's Grey Stuff At The Red Rose Taverne In Disneyland

The Red Rose Taverne in Fantasyland is one of my new favorites!  I usually don't eat there, but now that they are the only ones that make the Mickey Shaped Pancake for breakfast and the grey stuff ~ I love going there!  Plus I love that they play Beauty and the Beast music!

The Beauty and the Beast Grey Stuff is amazing!  I love the mousse and the red velvet cake together!  It's fun to eat too, because of the song... "try the grey stuff, it's delicious.  Don't believe me, ask the dishes!"

In the past few years the Mickey Shaped Pancake has moved around Disneyland a few times.  It went from River Belle Terrace, to Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante, and now at Red Rose Taverne.

It's a really cute pancake!  Anything Mickey is adorable!  My daughter and I always have to share it, because it's big.

I took a quick picture of the breakfast menu the last time I was there.  They also serve lunch and dinner.  It's a cute place to eat at in Fantasyland!

My Top 8 Favorite Dinners At Disneyland

I love food at Disneyland!  Sometimes I feel like I go for the food!  Everything there is amazing and unbelievable! This blog post is a list of some of my favorites...

1 ~ Blue Bayou has the best food ever!  I love their Herb-crusted Rack of Lamb!  Everything at Blue Bayou is so good!  Just make sure you add the house salad and the 8 layer chocolate hazelnut cake ~ it's the best!

2 ~ At the French Market in the New Orleans Square I always get the French Market Chicken.  It's a meal I get on every vacation to Disneyland.  Sometimes I get it twice on a vacation because it's just that good!

3 ~ Carnation Cafe has the Chicken Fried Chicken and it's so good!  It's a little spicy and that makes it delicious!

4 ~ Cafe Orleans has the Monte Cristo Sandwich that is amazing!  My friends and I all love this!  I know Cafe Orleans has a lot of great food, but this is the only meal I've tried there, because I only want this!

5 ~ The next two are both from the Jolly Holiday.  I love that place!  This one is the Jolly Holiday Combo ~ grilled cheese sandwich with the tomato basil soup.  My daughter and I both love this meal!

6 ~ This one is the Oven Roasted Turkey on Ciabatta from Jolly Holiday.  This sandwich is actually really filling.  Every time I eat this one, I can barely finish it.

7 ~ This is the Pot Roast at Plaza Inn and it's one of my new favorites.  I usually go for the character dining breakfast there, but I never went for dinner until my last two vacations to Disneyland.  It's really good and they have some yummy dessert there too!

8 ~ The Chicken Sandwich at Hungry Bear is so good!  This is a meal that my daughter and I will get a lot!  We love it!

Pin For Later...

Hungry Bear Restaurant At Disneyland

The Hungry Bear Restaurant is in Critter Country right before the Winnie The Pooh ride.  It has really good food and really good prices!

You get your food pretty fast.  Once you order it, you wait a minute or two for your food.

We got the chicken sandwich and it was really good!  The fries were really good too!  I'm picky with fries and I loved these ones!  It was dark outside when we took the picture and for some reason the lettuce is huge.  So my picture of the chicken sandwich is the bun and the lettuce.

Carthay Circle Restaurant In California Adventures World Of Color Dining Package

World of Color dining packages are offered at a few different restaurants in California Adventures.  I wanted to try out Carthay Circle Restaurant.  I've never been there before and always wanted to go there.

The dining package is a three course meal and includes a Fastpass to the World of Color performance.  The Fastpass is in a reserved seating area.

The picture below shows the stairs that you will take upstaris to the restaurant. You will wait downstairs and then when the hostess calls your name ~ you head upstairs to your table.

I got the Carthay Circle Escarole Salad, Grilled Angus Tri Tip, and the Valrhona Dark Chocolate Cake.  The dessert was my favorite part of the meal!  Really good cake!

My daughter got the Carthay Caesar Salad, Orecchiette Pasta with white sauce on the side, and the Orange Dreamsicle Sherbet Push Pop.

After your meal you will get the Fastpass ticket for the World of Color performance.

In the hallway of the restaurant they have Walt Disney and Shirley Temple!  I grew up watching her movies, because my mom is a huge fan of hers!  For Christmas last year (2016) my dad actually bought Shirley Temple's personal things for my mom from an auction her kids put together.  So my mom actually has Shirley's personal things.  Her favorite was the three ballet shoes that Shirley wore growing up!  She also got a tambourine signed by Shirley and a few huge posters signed by her too.

Breakfast At Tomorrowland Terrace Galactic Grill At Disneyland

My daughter and I love having breakfast at the Tomorrowland Terrace Galactic Grill in Disneyland!  Our favorite is the blue french toast ~ well that's we call it.  It's the Bantha Blue Milk Bread.  You get french toast, bacon, and fruit.  It's really good!

It's a lot of food so my daughter and I always share this one.  We both don't eat a lot for breakfast.  Sharing this meal is perfect for us!

Disneyland's Blue Bayou And French Market Restaurants

Disneyland's Blue Bayou And French Market Restaurants

My favorite restaurant at Disneyland is the Blue Bayou!  They have the most amazing food!  I love the nighttime feel of the restaurant!  It's fun!

I feel like the reason I always go here is for their chocolate hazunut dessert!  It's my favorite!  I get it every time and same with my daughter.  We usually share our desserts, but with this one... we need our own.  It's just that good!

This time I wanted to try the Herb Marinated Flat Iron Steak.  It was really good!  We went for lunch so I think it's only on their lunch menu.  I've also had their Filet Mignon and the Herb Crusted Rack of Lamb ~ both are amazing!

My daughter always gets the Roasted Beef Strip Loin with the veggies and fruit on the kids menu.  She really likes this meal!

My daughter always asks for me to get the Louisiana Lemonade because of the souvenir glow cube she gets!  It's lemonade with Sprite and Mango and Raspberry flavors.

This is just a picture of the rolls you get there.

My other favorite place to eat at Disneyland is the French Market Restaurant.  It's kind of like my second, but first for fast sit down eating at Disneyland.

My daughter always get the noodles with no sauce.  It comes with sauce, but she prefers none.

I get the French Quarter Chicken.  It's so good!  I never get anything else there, because when I go there I want this.  Everything else they have there looks really good too.

Around Halloween and Christmas they have this amazing dessert!  It's really good and fun!  We got this a couple of years ago at Disneyland, but haven't seen it since then.  Until our last trip to Disneyland.  I was so excited when I saw it!
