The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is so amazing! It creates the best day for your little princess and/or prince. My daughter loves it! The Boutique is located right by Sleeping Beauty's castle in Fantasyland. The ages for the royal transformation is between three and twelve.
They have a bunch of dresses to choose from. This picture was from Halloween so it's not updated.
You will go to a cute building that's by the castle to check in, pick out the dress (if you purchased the Castle Package or the Princess Signature Dress Collection Package), and pick out the hair style.
If you purchased the Castle Package or the Princess Signature Dress Collection Package your princess will go in the dressing room at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and put on their dress. Then they go get their royal transformation done. Their hair, make up, and nails done.
For the other packages without the dress, they will go straight to the royal transformation chair to get their hair, nails, and make up done.
After the royal transformation they will get a photoshoot if it's in their package they purchased. My daughter loves seeing her photos! She gets to keep them and remember her fun day at Disneyland!
It's just the best day for them and they get to enjoy the day at Disneyland dressed like their favorite Disney princess! In the Castle Package and the Princess Signature Dress Collection Package they get to go see the princesses at the Royal Hall. They go through a special door that's just for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique guests to go right up to the princesses without waiting in line. That's the best part!
Where To Buy Disney Princess Dresses At Disneyland
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Fantasyland is the place to buy Disney Princess dresses at Disneyland. It's the cutest store ever! My daughter and I love going in there! She does the make over a lot, so we are usually in there anyways.
They changed the make over package kits, so now you can buy the older ones and the current items too.
Each character has a section for their items. This is Tinkerbell's. My daughter was Tinkerbell for her make over from this trip.
They sell the wands, crowns, jewelry, dress, shoes, and accessories like a purse and gloves.
The boys have a something they can buy too... the shield and sword. The boys can get a prince make over with a fun, simple hairstyle plus the shield and sword.
They sell the princess shield, sword and crown also. I like the idea!
This is the area where girls and boys get their princess/prince make over. The make overs are my daughter's favorite thing! It's so fun for her to be dressed up like a princess at Disneyland!
Anna and Elsa's Boutique is so fun for little girls to get their hair, make up, and nails done at! It's so cute there and they have cute hair styles! My daughter always gets the Elsa hair style ~ it's her favorite there!
It's around $35 for the make over package. Which I think is a really great deal! They get to keep the tiara, nail polish, the make up kit, and colored hair extensions if they get that hair style.
The boutique is located in Downtown Disney. It's best to have an appointment ~ go to the Disneyland website and call the number for Disneyland's boutiques.
Below I have a few videos from the make overs. The first one is her first time at the boutique, the second is when we went with three of her cousins getting a make over too, and the third is a photo montage of the second one.
If you want you can ask the hairstylist for a few extra bobby pins to take with you. One of her updo's starting coming out a little during the day and one of her cousins had a bobby pins that her hairstylist gave to her just in case. So I used those.
My daughter loves the boutiques at Disneyland for the princess make overs! She has the best day at Disneyland when she is all dressed up like a princess!

They have different packages for girls for the princess make over and boys have one prince make over package. You can go to the Disneyland website and in the search bar type in Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. It will pop up and you can read all about the different packages with prices.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique does the make overs for kids from age 3 to 12. Anna and Elsa's Boutique in Downtown Disney does make overs too. Their age limit is 15. My daughter loves that boutique too!

My daughter, Rachel got the biggest package for this one. She gets the biggest package a lot and sometimes she gets the smaller one. It's fun for her to pick out the outfit! She loves deciding which Disney princess she wants to dress up like that day!
For the biggest package the princess gets an outfit, wand, crown, hairstyle/updo, nails painted, make up with eye shadow, lip gloss, blush, and a face gem. a photo shoot that you get 4 4x6 photos with an 8x10 photo in a cute Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique photo frame, and then they get to go to Royal Hall ~ skip the line and see the Disney princesses. The princess gets a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique sash and cinch bag. Plus they get to keep the nail polish, make up kit, face gems, comb, and brush. If they use the brush they get to keep it. If they don't use a brush, then that's not included.
They offer a few different hairstyles that your princess will be able to choose one of them.
The cutest part is when the Fairy Godmother in Training is done and shows the princess what she looks like dressed up as a princess! At the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique they call the hairstylist Fairy Godmother in Training. So cute!
This part the curtains get pulled back, magical music plays, and the mirror sparkles! I love how magical everything is at Disneyland!
This is part of the photo shoot. The photographer has them pose really cute for all of the photos. Then they pick the best few and will print them for your photo frame.
Like I said afterwards they get to go to Royal Hall and meet the sweet Disney princesses!

How Everything Works At Disneyland's Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is such a cute place at Disneyland! They do princess make overs and prince make overs from ages 3 to 12. They offer a few different packages for the princesses and one package for a prince. You can go to the Disneyland website and type in the search bar Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. It will have their page with packages and prices on it.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is located in Fantasyland right by the Disneyland Princess Castle. Call the phone number they have on their page on the Disneyland website and make an appointment. You will need an appointment because they book up fast.
I recommend making the appointment earlier in the day so your princess or prince can spend most of the day at Disneyland all dressed up.
They have a big package that includes an outfit, crown, wand, updo, nails painted, make up with blush, eye shadow, lip gloss, and a face gem, they get a princess sash, princess cinch, a photo shoot, a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique photo frame with an 8x10 photo with 4 4x6 photos, and they get to go to Royal Hall to meet the princesses.
You get to keep the comb and/or brush, the make up kit, face gems, and nail polish. They will give it to you in the princess cinch. (little pink backpack)
They have two smaller packages. One just has the updo, with everything else like make up, face gem, nails painted, princess sash, and princess cinch. You get to keep the items. That one doesn't include an outfit so you're princess can bring her own princess dress. If you already have one at home ~ remember to pack it.
The other smaller package is a little more than the last one. It inculdes the updo, make up, face gem, princess sash, princess cinch, nails painted and you get to keep the items... plus you get a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique shirt with a tutu skirt.
As you walk into the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and tell them you're there for the appointment ~ they will have your little princess look around the shop and decide what outfit they want. If they get the big package.
They will have the outfit ready back in the dressing room. Keep in mind you will have to carry what your princess was wearing before. Have them wear cute shoes that day. Ones that will look great with the outfit.
Sometimes we buy shoes that they sell at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique store. Sometimes my daughter doesn't care about cute shoes and wants to be comfortable so she will wear tennis shoes.
The princess will sit in this salon chair. As you can see in the picture the cushion folds up for the smaller/younger princesses. It folds back down for the taller princesses.
The hairstylist at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique are called Fairy Godmothers in Training. Pretty clever! They will do the hair and someone else will come by to do the nails and make up.
After the Fairy Godmother in Training is finsihed she will put on the princess sash and then turn the princess around to face the curtains. Then the curtains magically pulls back by the birds, it plays cute music, and the mirror sparkles. It's really fun!
You usually have to wait for the photo shoot about five to ten minutes while they finish up with the other princesses. The photographer will take the picture in the current pose and then they will have the parent take a picture with their phone or camera. So you get to take pictures in the photo shoot room too.
Then they will print it and gave you the cute Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique photo frame.
Here are two out of the three updo's they offer. With the colored hair one ~ you get to keep the colored hair extensions and with the tiara undo ~ you keep the tiara and the Minnie clip. I know for sure they still do the tiara. I'm not sure if they still do the Minnie clip. They change things once in awhile.
For this make over we did the smallest package and she brought her dress. We actually bought it from the Disney Store website before our trip.
As you can see in this picture above her princess sash says Birthday Princess. We went right after her birthday to Disneyland. She told the Fairy Godmother in Training that she just had her birthday. So they offered her the Birthday sash. They asked her if she wanted the normal one or the birthday one ~ she picked the birthday one. If you go on or around your daughter's birthday she can get the birthday sash if she wants.
After the make over and photo shoot ~ the princess gets to go to the Royal Hall to meet the princess! You don't have to wait in line, because a Fairy Godmother in Training will take you over to a special door. So you and your princess will be next in line.
