The Fairy Godmother is a fun character to meet at Disneyland! She is always very sweet!
There are few places to find her. She is usually in Fantasyland by the Castle, in the front of Disneyland when you first walk in, and for the character dining at Plaza Inn.
I have below a couple of videos that have the Fairy Godmother in them. One has in the video along with other Disneyland character in the video. The other video is just of the Fairy Godmother.
Packing for Disneyland is actually really fun, because it gets me so excited for my trip to Disneyland. I put together a video of everything I pack for a vacation to Disneyland.
I hope this helps give some ideas of what to pack and what you'll need for your trip. Below is the video. You can watch it here on my blog or on YouTube. Comment below on my blog what items you pack that you think other people don't think to pack for a trip to Disneyland. If you watch it on YouTube then you can comment on YouTube. Thanks for watching my video!
Character dinings at Disneyland are the best! Character dinings are a great way to see a bunch of characters at Disneyland without waiting in line.
Plaza Inn is my favorite character dining! This character dining has the most characters out of all the other character dinings at Disneyland! Plus I think it has the best breakfast! I really love the other character dining breakfasts too, but I feel like Plaza Inn has more options. It's just my personal favorite.
We went to the Plaza Inn character dining for my daughter's birthday and she loved it! It was so fun to be able to be at Disneyland for her birthday! To finally plan a vacation to Disneyland around her birthday!
You can watch my video of the Plaza Inn Character Dining here on my blog or you can watch it on YouTube. There is a funny part with Hook being a photo bomber and Dale not loving it!
If you watch it on YouTube comment below which character dining is your favorite at Disneyland. Or if you watch it here on my blog comment below which character dining is your favorite. We all know mine... Plaza Inn!
Disney character meet and greets are one of the funnest things to do at Disneyland! In this video I explain a lot about how to find the characters at Disneyland, I show you how to use the Disneyland app to find the characters, tell you the best way to see a lot of characters, tell you the best time to see Mickey and Minnie in Toontown, tell you all the places where you can get the autograph books for your kids, and I add a few character secrets at the end of the video for fun.
I hope this video helps! You can watch it here on my blog or you can watch it on YouTube. If you watch it on YouTube comment below and let me know who your favorite character to see at Disneyland is!
One of our favorite character dinings at Disneyland is the Disney's PCH Grill at the Paradise Pier Hotel ~ the Donald Duck's Seaside Character Dining Breakfast. We love it because of the food, the dancing the characters do and Stitch is usually there! We love seeing Stitch and love seeing him dance! He always dances so funny!
I have a video at the bottom of this post you can watch to see how funny he dances! We love it!
Character dinings are a really good idea at Disneyland because it's a great way to see a lot of characters without waiting in line. Plus you get really great food! They are a little pricey, but they are worth it to me. You can look at the Disneyland website to see the prices. Each character dining is different. The character dinings are really fun! Watch the video if you want to see more.
For the buffet they have a really great variety to choose from! They have a lot of breakfast foods and everything is good!
When you first walk in for the character dining you will be able to have a character meet and greet with Donald Duck! It's his character dining so you will meet him first.
The photographer will take your photo. You can purchase a photo set with 2 8x10 photos in it, but you don't have to. A cast member will go around to each table to offer the photo set for sell. If you don't want it you don't have to buy it. It's around $35/$37. I can't remember. I did buy the set from this character dining.
I have so many that when I know I don't want to buy the set or I don't want to carry it with me all day at the park I will tell the photographer I don't want to buy the set. So I will have the photographer scan my annual pass and I might buy the photo later. So you can tell them you don't want to buy the set if you don't want the set and you can have them scan your photo pass/max pass/annual pass and buy the photo later if you want.
The photo sets are really cute and I love buying them. I'm just letting you know you don't have to buy it. If you do want to buy them ~ they will take the photos and later come to your table with the set and then you can purchase it. It's great for a souvenir!
The characters will come around to each table so have your camera ready!
Every thirty minutes they will come up to the front and dance with the kids to fun beach music! It's so fun!
Just for dining there you get this fun Donald Duck button! Every character dining at Disneyland gives you a button so if you like collecting things these are fun to collect!
Below I have our video of our last character dining there...
When you are at Disneyland you might have noticed the Disney Vacation Club booths around. If you are wanting to get some more information about Disney Vacation Club all you have to do is set up a tour. It takes about one to one and a half hours for the tour. You will get all the information you need. You don't have to decide that day if you want to join, but for taking the tour you will get something just for taking it.
When we took the tour we got a gift card with $100 on it to spend in Disneyland and my daughter and I each got 4 Fastpasses! I know they change it. Only take the tour if you are considering joining Disney Vacation Club because I think they can tell if you are just there for the gift.
It was nice that I didn't have to sign up that day and had some time to think about it. I received all the information and a DVD. I ended up joining one month later because I love Disneyland and I'm going on vacations there anyway!
You will easily be able to find a booth in Disneyland. There are a couple in the park. One in Tomorrowland and one by the Plaza Inn restaurant. There is another one as you are walking on the main street in California Adventures. There are a couple more ~ one in Downtown Disney and one by the Disneyland Hotel. If you are staying at the Grand Californian Hotel there is a desk there that you can set up a tour as well.
Not only do they give you the Fastpasses and gift card (or whatever gift they are giving at the time you go) they give you water and a treat. A lot of the information is on a video, so most of the time you are watching videos about Disney Vacation Club with the Disney Vacation Club agent explaining things in between the videos.
They have a really fun kid room for the kids to go during the tour. My daughter actually didn't want to watch the videos, so she went in the room and she said it was really fun. They had a movie playing and a bunch of games and toys to play with.
After the videos they take you to see a couple of the villas that are right next door. My daughter went to that part, because that was fun. The villas are really nice! In the video below is the studio villa at the Grand Californian Hotel that my daughter and I stayed at.
Disney Floral and Gifts deliver to your hotel fun gifts for everyone and it's so fun! My daughter, Rachel always loves the gifts she gets!
I only order a gift set from Disney Floral and Gifts once in a while so she is surprised. For her birthday this year we were able to go to Disneyland and I got her this fun birthday gift set!
The gift set came like this, but I added the Donald Duck toy for fun. You can create your own gift set or pick one out.
Disney Floral and Gifts deliver to most hotels near Disneyland, so you can order a gift set or flowers and they will deliver it to your hotel room. It's so fun to surprise my daughter with theses fun gifts! If you decide to order a gift ~ just go to their website and place an order. Keep in mind as you order they add $10 delivery fee to your order. Sometimes they don't have it in your room in time for check in, so you can call your hotel and arrange that it will be in your room. One time the delivery guy handed it to us as we were getting to the room, so that wasn't that fun. Just call your hotel and set it up to make sure it's a surprise!
The set came with a cute birthday pin! She was so excited to wear the pin all day!
The picture above is what their birthday gift set comes with and below is what Rachel got because I added Donald Duck.
Here is the video of Rachel opening up her gift set...
