Every time my daughter, Rachel and I go to Disneyland we always book the Princess Character Dining at Ariel's Grotto in California Adventures! We love it! The food is really good and she loves seeing all the princesses there! We book other character dining too, like the one at the Plaza Inn is one of our favorites! That's the one that is Minnie and her friends. That's really good food and so much fun for my daughter!
Character dining is just a great way to see all of your favorite characters and to get their autographs for the kids. When we walk around Disneyland we always see everyone in line to see the characters that are out and it's just so nice to know that we can see most of them at these things. Rachel loves getting out her little Disney autograph book and have the character sign it every time we go to Disneyland. So she loves getting most of them all at once with the character dining.
When you first walk in you get your picture taken with Ariel! That's always super exciting for my daughter! A little after you sit down they come around to each table with your picture in the cute paper frame ~ available to purchase. We always buy ours because it's super cute!
While you wait for your food they give the kids a cute crown to decorate. Rachel always has fun decorating hers!
We love the bread they give out at first! It's super yummy! I have a picture here of my salad. It was pretty good!
Last year when we came here I got the best steak ever, but they don't serve that anymore. So, I was bummed. This time I got the Barbecue Tri Tip which is actually really good. Rachel got the Angel Hair with the cute little Dinglehopper! I think that was pretty clever of them!
The best part is their desserts! Super yummy! You have to try these out! My favorite was that smores thing in the middle of my plate! It was unbelievably good!
Then Rachel's favorite part... the princesses! She got to see her favorite princess this time ~ Rapunzel! She didn't see Rapunzel at all the last time we came, so she was super happy this time!
Plus is was extra fun for Rachel being there with the princeses the day of her Bibbidi Bobbid Boutique make over! She looked just like a princess meeting the princesses!
