Disneyland's Toontown

My daughter and I love going to Toontown to see Mickey and Minnie Mouse!  Their houses are just so cute and my daughter loves to play around inside!

A couple of years ago when we went to see both of them there were huge lines to go see them.  Of course we waited because it's worth the wait.  Last time we went right before Toontown closed.  Like thirty minutes before and that was the best thing ever!  We went in Mickey's house and looked around, then when it came time for the line to see him ~ there were only two families in front of us.  It was awesome not having to wait forever!

Same with Minnie's house.  We looked around, then just had a couple of kids in front of us.

If you haven't been to Mickey's house before and haven't waited in line ~ it's not that bad.  The first half of the line has things in the room that are cute and some kids will play with it.  Then the second half of the line is in a big room with older Mickey cartoons playing on a big screen.  So while you wait to see Mickey Mouse you can watch his shows.  I think that was smart to have the cartoons playing, so the line wouldn't feel as long of a wait.  It's fun to watch the cute cartoons!

Mickey's house seems huge because you look around all the rooms in his house then end up in the line at the end of the house.  Minnie's house is different.  If the line is long it starts outside of her house, then you get to look around the couple of rooms in her house, and finish waiting in line outside where she is.  She is the backyard with a cute little set up.

You will have those long lines if you go anytime during the day, but like I said ~ if you go towards the closing time you won't have to wait that long at all.  We use to go during the day and that's why I know about the long lines.  Now we only go closer to the closing time for Toontown.  It's just the smarter way to go!

So I highly recommend waiting until a half hour before closing to go see Mickey and Minnie Mouse!  Not wasting our time in line was awesome!
