Disneyland's Character Dining Children 10 and Older Paying At Adult Prices Explained...

Disneyland's character dining has set prices.  A price for adults and children.  The prices for the children only goes up to age 9.  So when your child is 10 they have to pay for the adult price.  I didn't love that part, because my daughter is a picky eater and she only likes the kids menu.  Disneyland actually has a way they can fix that.

For the character dining buffets it's fine for kids because they can pick whatever they want to eat.  When it's a character dining like the princess dining and they order off the menu ~ it's different.

There are two choices your child has for character dinings with a menu option.  They can order off the adult menu.  Or if the child doesn't like any of the adult menu options, they can order off the kids menu, but get double the amount in food.  That's what my daughter does.  She doesn't like any of the options on the adult menu, so she orders what she likes on the kids menu.  Then they double the amount of food to make it worth the money we pay for the adult price.
