This blog post is pictures of souvenirs that are great for kids. These pictures are mostly girl things to buy, but I do have some that work for boys too like Star Wars items. I know some families have their kids save up money to buy souvenirs so I put together this post just to give you an idea of some things you can plan on buying and about how much money to save.
Every trip my daughter gets the Minnie Mouse Ears! They are so cute! They about $15 to $25 depending on what you get.
At the Pirates of the Caribbean store that's right by the ride ~ you can buy a little bag filled with jewels. My daughter, Rachel loved filling up the little bag!
Rachel loves buying Disney pins and the mystery pin box. Pins are about $10 each ~ I think.
Rachel's favorite thing to buy and collect are the Disneyland stuffed toys. They cost about $12 up to $27. The sets of two stuffed toys are $27.
They sell super cute character hats. In the picture you can see her holding a tiger that's from the store in Adventureland. They sell cute stuffed animals. I don't remember the price on the hat ~ maybe around $20 and the tiger was about $12.
Pressed coins are the cheapest souvenir and a fun collection to start at Disneyland! Rachel bought the Pressed coin collection book and has so much fun filling it up! Every time we see a pressed coin machine we stop to get one or two. The book is about $9 and make sure you ask for the map of all the coin machines. The pressed pennies are 2 quarters and a penny. The pressed nickels are 3 quarters and a nickel. The pressed dimes are 3 quarters and a dime. The pressed quarters are 4 quarters. I think that's right for all of them ~ I could be wrong.
She also collects the Disneyland charms. You can buy one charm for about $5 or $6. They sell the bracelets and necklaces, but if you need to stick to a budget you can buy one before your trip.
The Disney autograph books are great! You get a souvenir with the Disney characters signatures that you collect on your vacation. They costs about $12 to $16.
The Disney Vinyls are fun because they are a mystery box. They are about $13 each.
The Disneyland umbrellas are so cute and you get it custom made with your name and designs that you pick out. The small umbrellas are $16 ~ that's what size Rachel and I got. You get to pick between flowers or hearts for the design. If you want characters on the umbrella is costs more.
At the Bibbidi Bobbid Boutique they sell these cute jewelry, music boxes. I've seen them at a couple other stores, but I know for sure that the Bibbidi Bobbid Boutique sells them ~ that's where we bought this one. It was $22.
Rachel loves playing the Games of the Boardwalk in California Adventures! She always wins a lot of prizes. The fishing game is great to play because you will always get a prize. The games are $2.50 each time you play. It's a great way to get souvenirs. We usually spend $15 and she ends up with a handful of stuffed toys like in the picture below!
Balloons are fun to buy at Disneyland, but it's not really a souvenir. They cost about $9. The quality of the balloons are amazing!
Rachel loves this hoodie! It's the most comfortable hoodie ever! It was about $38. The shirts are about $15 to $25. Just to give you an idea of how much the clothing costs for kid sizes.
I wanted to post this video of the Ariel's bubble toy. It's really fun! I can't remember exactly how much it was ~ maybe around $15 or $17. Around there. It's a great souvenir, because after being home from our trip ~ she actually plays with it a lot!
In the Star Wars store by Star Tours ride you can build your own Lightsaber. This one I can't remember how much it was. I know it's around $20. I bought one that's not custom made ~ just in a package with Mickey shaped buttons and that one was $14 or $16.
In the Star Wars store you can build your own Droid. I know you can build 2 for $22. I'm not sure what the price is for just one.
Magnets and keychains are good souvenirs and they are about $6 each. There are some fancier keychains ~ I have one and I got it for $14. It's Minnie shaped with gems.
I hope this blog post helps with giving you an idea of what you could buy at Disneyland and how much things are. There are so many things you can buy!
