How PhotoPasses Work At Disneyland

How PhotoPasses Work At Disneyland

PhotoPasses are a clever thing Disneyland came up with!  A great way for you to get great pictures take on your vacation!

There are photographers all over Disneyland that will take pictures of you and your family in front of the castle, by Walt and Mickey statue, or anywhere else that you would like a picture.  They will take your picture and then scan all the pictures they took to a Disney PhotoPass.  Each time a photographer takes more pictures for you ~ they will scan your card.

The photographers have a bunch a new cards, so if you just got to Disneyland they will scan a new card for you.  Then you can reuse it on your trip.

When you get home you can go to the website to see all of your pictures and purchase the ones you want.  Also on the website is additional products.  You can have your photo created into a phone case, mouse pad, calendar, and some other fun options.

I haven't done yet but I know there is a special Disneyland PhotoPass CD option you can purchase.  If you purchase before your trip ~ I think it was at least two weeks then it's around $70.  If you purchase it at Disneyland at the photo store there on Main Street it's around $100.  I don't know much about it.  My Disney travel agent told me a little bit.  If you are interested in something like this go to the PhotoPass website or call your Disney travel agent.

The CD is going to be all your pictures taken at Disneyland available to you with the cost of the CD.  For the free PhotoPass card that you get from the Disneyland photographers ~ you only get the pictures you pay for.

Photographers can take requested pictures of you and your family.  I was in line for the Matterhorn Bobsled ride and a photographer was taking pictures of a dad with his little son on his shoulders by the Nemo Submarine ride (the water area).  It was really cute!

One time I was on the Mark Twain river boat and a photographer was taking a bunch of pictures of a group of girls.  So if you have a request for a picture ~ just ask them.

Every time you see a Disney character there is always a photographer there so you can get good pictures.  The photographers are at all the character dinings too.

I can't remember how many days you have until they are no longer available online under your account.  I think around 30 to 45 days.  Make sure you remember to check your pictures to see if you want to purchase any of them.
